Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector will work closely with Vecima’s quality team and Supply Chain, Production, Manufacturing Support, Design and Development to support supplier quality issues, support nonconforming products investigations, and the Quality Management System. This role will also identify risk and evaluate deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units/suppliers/vendors to appropriately remedy them; perform supplier audits and risk assessments; and, ensure high quality and reliability levels are achieved for purchased parts by checking the quality of incoming, outgoing material and products as well as WIP at the suppliers/vendors sites. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, and English required.
Duties to include (but not limited to):

• Work closely with and support other departments in their efforts to contain, investigate and correct vendor quality issues
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection along with functional and parametric testing according to documented policies and procedures and complete inspection and test reports at suppliers sites
• Plan, schedule and arrange inspection/test supplier/vendor site visits
• Create, review and revise processes, procedures and work instructions to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
• Operate various test and measurement equipment as instructed and as documented in procedures
• Ensure the Quality Control equipment and tools are secure from damage or loss, calibrated and maintained
• Read engineering drawings, datasheets and product work instructions to identify the quality expectations for finished product and assemblies, individual components and general supplies
• Approve or reject raw materials and components based on established quality standards
• Record and report information relating to supplier performance to stakeholders ensuring timeliness
• Perform sample testing of materials and verify compliance to the specifications for those materials using appropriate methods (e.g. measuring dimensions, testing functionality, testing for parametric performance etc.)
• Maintain quality related metrics and periodically report those metrics to stakeholders (examples of quality metrics would be the number of defective products per day, repeat occurrences of defects/non-conformances)
• Document non-conformances as per Quality Procedures, support efforts to root cause the sources of those non-conformances and participate in the decision-making process relating to the disposition of non-conforming material
• Develops and conducts training/awareness at suppliers/vendors to improve QC and QA knowledge and methodologies
• Produce clear and concise QA/QC/investigation reports including but not limited to MS Office, Visio, CADD, PDF applications
• Approve/authorize shipments of parts/assemblies from supplier to Vecima sites
• Performing other duties as required

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-8 plus years of related experience

Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager supports the development of new/existing vendors and supply chain programs within Vecima. The delivery of an on time authorized build plan will be achieved by procuring raw materials and services through Vecima’s supply chain, ensuring best pricing, quality and lead time are achieved.  As a champion of quality in the supply chain, you will be required to lead cross function teams providing critical analysis of vendor supplied root cause analysis and corrective action.  Your skills at change management will be required to support the successful implementation of ECO’s (engineering change orders) within the vendor base.  This role will drive continuous improvement throughout Vecima’s supply chain using critical thinking and providing effective communication between suppliers and the internal production environment.
Duties to include (but not limited to):

• Purchase, expedite and reschedule materials and services as required to support Vecima’s build plan
• Evaluate shipment discrepancies to ensure orders are filled accurately 
• Identifying and develop potential new vendors
• Build strong supplier relationships to ensure best possible pricing, availability, and quality of parts and services
• Work together with other departments to assist in meeting organizational goals 
• Assist in the development and negotiation of Supply Chain programs
• Support the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process and Vendor Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s)
• Create/update work instructions within the supply chain
• Analyze, report and make recommendations on supply chain programs
• Lead cross functional meetings as required to support supply chain KPIs

• Able to preform root cause analysis for NCR’s and provide critical review of RCA’s provided
• Understanding of revision control and able to manage ECO’s through effective change management.
